                 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE, 
                 PART II, SECTION 24-502, RELATIVE TO SCHEDULE 
                 II. SPEED ON THROUGH STREETS.
                 
                 
                                                     
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  Chattanooga City Code, Part II, Section 
       24-502, Schedule II. Speed on through streets, as amended, be and 
       the same is hereby further amended so as to delete the following:
            Riverside Drive, 50 miles per hour from Amnicola Highway 
                 to the Walnut Street Bridge.
            
       and add the following thereto:
            Riverside Drive, 50 miles per hour from Amnicola Highway 
                 to the Mabel Street overpass.
            
            Riverside Drive, 40 miles per hour from the Mabel Street 
                 overpass to the Walnut Street Bridge.
            
            
       	    	 SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall be effective two (2) 
       weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
